The artist and the artwork as nomad. BodySite investigates the relationship between body and environment. It is situated at the juncture between performance art, dance, sculpture, and installation. BodySite presents the artist as and artwork as a singular nomadic entity. Created in collaboration with choreographer Ann Robideaux, the performance creates a site for surprise and contemplation, a renewed sense of time and space for viewers to enter the spell of performance. The figure attached to her limited environment evokes associations of safety and confinement, protection and vulnerability, metamorphosis and transformation.

BodySite uses the form of a dress-like garment/fabric tarp worn by the artist that can be transported and installed on-site in a multitude of places. The work is available for presentation and well-suited to art and dance festivals and fairs.
